Gemmas’s Background Gemma has worked in executive search for over twenty years. She combines her extensive track record placing people across Family Offices and their operating companies as well as working with boutique asset managers and alternative investment managers. Gemma founded da Cunha Advisory in 2017, having previously co-founded an executive search firm from September 2001 which focused on institutional asset and private wealth management placements globally across all asset classes. During her career Gemma has been a generalist but has always had a very strong focus on private capital markets and family offices. Gemma is actively involved in all aspects of each hire, taking a very “hands on” approach. Her extensive market knowledge and valuable relationships span many years across the finance community, both in the UK and internationally.
